The Prospect Centre is about "potential, discovery, and outlook" all definitions of the word "prospect" and what we see as latent in your child when they walk through our doors.
We are a boutique learning centre providing personalized, vibrant learning experiences.
We aim to get to know our students well, therefore providing the best possible learning environment for them.
Because of this, we offer a limited amount of student spaces.
Tracey Keene is the administrator and senior reading therapist (Orton-Gillingham) at the Prospect Centre As a parent of a son with dyslexia, she has a unique insight into the lives of parents and students at the Orton Gillingham Centre.
Tracey believes in continually expanding her knowledge, by regularly participating in trainings, conferences, and keeping up to date on the latest research.
Tracey's background and training includes Orton Gillingham Math and Language as well as the development of the Prospect Centre's Strength Builders Program.
Executive Director Marilyn Wardrop, is a Founding Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Therapeutic Tutors (Orton-Gillingham) and Fellow of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (US). She has been involved with teaching children with dyslexia and learning disabilities over 25 years.
Marilyn developed and taught Orton-Gillingham (OG) Academic Math Instructor Training Courses which combine a unique approach to help students be successful and independent while working on their math skills and curriculum.
The Prospect Centre for Multisensory Learning melds Marilyn and Tracey's skill and experience as Orton-Gillingham reading therapists and trainers with their combined passion for helping families and their children with learning differences.
